GOD IS WITH US – OUR CERTAINTY IN AN UNCERTAIN WORLD
Is God really with us in our everyday lives? Or is God in some far away Heaven looking down on us with mild interest? When we see what is transpiring worldwide, a pandemic, Job loss, failing economies crime, even right here in Trinidad the brutal murders of our women.
WHERE IS GOD IN ALL THIS? HE HAS ALREADY GIVEN US A HEADS UP
In the book of 2 Timothy 3:1-5, the bible is revealing what will transpire in the last days.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
This scripture tells us God already knows what is happening, this is part of the prophecy being fulfilled, but also the verse tells us to be set apart from all this. There is no doubt evil is among us.
Here Timothy is saying:
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of your ministry.
WHAT IS EXPECTED?
1. He will cleanse the earth. When Jesus comes again, He will come in power and great glory. At that time the wicked will be destroyed. All things that are corrupt will be burned, and the earth will be cleansed by fire
2. He will judge His people. When Jesus comes again, He will judge the nations and will divide the righteous from the wicked (see Matthew 25:31–46;).
WHAT IS REQUIRED FROM US?
2 Chronicles 7:14 says
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
WHAT IS PROMISED?
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
Read below carefully!
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
In these last days, please draw yourselves unto the Lord. Only then this scripture can be applicable to you! He will take care of his.
HE IS ALWAYS WITH US!

Let your manner of living be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have.
